What We Are Looking For:
We are looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic, and experienced Boochtender to be the face of Boochcraft at our premier taproom location in Del Mar, California. You will be responsible for accurately preparing and responsibly serving beverages in a friendly and efficient manner, while also educating customers on unique flavors, our ridiculously cool process, and hard kombucha in general! You'll be taking on a high-impact, high-visibility role in a fast-growing company; we're looking for people who are excited by that type of opportunity and see themselves making a difference at Boochcraft!

What You’ll Do:
- Willingness to uphold our external company values.
- Provide bartending and drink service with efficiency and accuracy.
- Interact with guests in a way that demonstrates optimism, warmth, and integrity to create a pleasant, fun environment for guests and other team members.
- Respond to inquiries from guests in a way that provides accurate info and enhances their experience. Make great suggestions for drinks based on their expressed likes/dislikes.
- Operate our POS system accurately.
- Sell merchandise and maintain an accurate inventory record.
- Perform cleaning tasks and breakdown of service.
- Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness.
- Tap kegs and replace kegs as needed.
- Additional responsibilities as needed.
What You’ll Need:
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- 2+ year experience in bartending/beertending role strongly preferred.
- Strong ability to handle money and proficiency in operating a point-of-sale system.
- Basic understanding of beer, wine, spirits, and kombucha is required.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism when interacting with guests.
- Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Must be certified in Responsible Beverage Service training through ABC.
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to work different shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends. Must be able to work overtime as required.
- Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret Company operations, safety, finance, and human resource documents.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests.
- Must be available to work at least 5 days per week including nights, weekends & holidays.

The pay range for this position is $16.30 (tippable hours) to $18 (non-tippable hours) per hour
Work Environment: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud (yeehaw!). The lighting in the work environment may be dim.
Physical Requirements: Candidate must be able to perform physical activities which include but are not limited to lifting, bending over, kneeling, twisting, climbing on ladders, stooping, crouching, and routinely lifting up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs. The candidate may be required to stand for up to various hours at a time.
