Bookkeeper with Expert Knowledge in Quickbooks Online
Job description
Busy flower shop with two locations is seeking a talented Bookkeeper with Expert Knowledge in Quickbooks Online and Shopify to manage our day-to-day financial operations and help us become more organized.
Salary: $55,000-$65,000 per year
Location: In-Person 2 days a week on Long Island in East Northport, NY and Remote work-from-home the other 3 days.
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time (Monday to Friday)
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
- Process and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports
- Perform bank reconciliations and assist with annual audits
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies
- Verify Employee Clock-In/Out and input for payroll each week in SurePayroll system.
- Organize and keep track of receipts for material, reimbursements, and cash receipts.
- Provide support to other departments as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 5+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online, Shopify, and Microsoft Office
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
