Job Title: Bookkeeping/Administrative Assistant – 10-15 hours weekly Monday through Wednesday
Job Qualifications/Requirements:
Education and Experience
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in office environment with some bookkeeping experience
- Highly knowledgeable in Microsoft Office products
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
- Ability to problem solve and multi task.
- Flexibility to work on a variety of tasks throughout the ministry.
- General understanding of non-profit practices and compliance is preferred.
Character/Spiritual
- Christian faith rooted in the Bible
- Agreement with and adherence to House of Refuge Sunnyslope’s Core Values
- Ability to process and manage confidential information
- High level of integrity, honesty, and confidentiality
Job Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping Duties
· Data entry of payables and receivables
· Support bookkeeper in donor transactions
· Develop & run various reports
Office Administration
· Help maintain all office equipment & systems
· Maintenance of utility accounts
· Maintenance of data files
· Support Office Manager as needed
· Back up phone coverage
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.50 per hour
