Brand Development Coordinator/Support Staff

In this position you are responsible for working with our add agency and management team to aid in all customer facing brand development strategies. These duties will include managing product on our website, aiding our marketing agency in adding messages to the website to aid in developing our brand strategy and embody our mission statement of being committed to creating happy customers and raving fans. This position will also work closely with our marketing team and staff to maintain our organic social media presence. With the management of both our website and social media presence this role will aid us in ensuring we have an omnichannel guest experience on brand with our mission statement and core values. This position will also be responsible for providing customer follow up of all sorts and aid our team with in store customer experiences when other staff members are unavailable. This will all be done by embodying our mission statement and living our core values every day.

Core responsibilities:

Web Site Maintenance expectations:

  • Taking off merchandise that has been sold, or that we no longer have in stock.
  • This requires that you work with the Inventory Specialist to know what was sold and what needs to be removed.
  • You will add new merchandise to the website, following the layout that is there, and providing a stock picture and a picture of the merchandise on someone. You will use stock photographs from vendors when available, and when it is not, you will use the light box to take a stock photo, and also take a picture of the merchandise on a staff member.
  • You will use this same procedure in cleaning up the merchandise featured on the website now. We need categories that make sense and are easily found by the consumer. In the categories, we want to have 48 items in each. Working with the Inventory specialist, you will receive the best-selling items to keep on the categories and the site itself.

Social Media expectations:

  • We have a company that provides our regular postings for social media. The group may require you to provide them with items that they would need from us. This is mostly pictures of stock items, and before and after pictures from custom work for clients.
  • Making signage for all special events in the store, and making sure that they are ready and put out six weeks ahead of the event.
  • Setting up slide shows that will run our front TV’s. This will be for special events, before and after pictures of repairs and custom work, and details of downtown events going on in our community.
  • Photography- you will use the light box for photography needed in the store and for clients

Special Events Coordinator expectations:

  • Work with the team to determine special events for the whole year and put them on our calendar.
  • Work with the team to determine the details and layouts of the events that are on our calendar. We need to plan each event out starting six weeks out, so that we have time to advertise the event, and prepare for the event.
  • You will work with owner/manager on the layout for each event.
  • You will create a special events checklist for each, and also a tracking form for the purpose of clienteling to our customers.
  • The owner/manager will provide lists for each event and determine the advertising that we will need for each. We will use social media, and in-store signage for the store. You will provide the signage for each event and print them out following the six weeks guideline for each event.
  • You will help with outreach to our clients. That will be in form of text messaging or individual phone calls to clients. You will make a check list for each sales person that will help them determine who they have contacted, do they need to reach out to them again, or have they booked and appointment.
  • You will need to check appointment calendar that is on our website, and get with the team members for contact with the clients.

Repair Support expectation:

  • You will learn how to change watch batteries
  • You will learn how to clean and check jewelry
  • You will learn how to do small jewelry repair
  • You will learn how to do engraving
  • You will learn how to go through the take in job box, and be able to put the repair envelopes into the correct rotation for repair. You will also work with manager on parts to be ordered for jobs from take in.
  • Jobs Done Box- you will learn how to inspect repair jobs that are completed, and you will mark any job that needs to go back into repair bench. You will also learn how to mark jobs done on the POS system. You will contact customer via phone call or text.

Customer Interaction expectations:

  • All sales staff are actively involved with client follow up a daily basis. You will be responsible for client outreach in the form of support to each sales staff, and also for your own clients that you will develop over time.
  • Selling support- you will be the 4thor 5thperson in our up system for selling. You will assist by answering phone calls, taking messages, looking up items on for sales staff, and you will also learn how to greet a customer, and how to help them with their needs. This will include repair take in, and making sales for Fernbaugh’s.
  • You will be required to perform all tasks as assigned by management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $30,647.82 per year
