Be a part of an amazing team! Community Connection’s Union County Public Transit is recruiting for TWO Bus Drivers at $15.16 – $19.87 per hour (+$1.00 per hour for CDL with passenger endorsement).
One position is 30+ hours per week, accompanied by a competitive benefits package: paid holiday/vacation/sick leave, paid health/dental insurance paired with an HSA/HRA option, and retirement eligibility after one year of employment. The second position is scheduled for 20-29 hours per week, accompanied by vacation/sick leave and retirement eligibility after one year of employment.
We need individuals that are excellent with people, professional in their communications, come to work with a positive attitude, enjoy staying busy, and are excited about learning the world of transportation in Union County.
- Transport elderly persons with disabilities and public riders to a variety of locations within the county as well as areas outside of Union County
- Transport clients to medical appointments as needed.
- Maintain records on the number/type of passengers, miles driven, etc.
- Responsible for fueling, routine vehicle inspections, and keeping the vehicle interiors clean.
- Offer consistent and excellent customer service to clients and the community.
Must have a current Oregon Driver’s License and a good driving record. Transit experience is preferred but not mandatory. Must pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal history background check.
