Opportunity Summary

The Business Analyst is a key contributor role that requires a hands-on analytical professional to interpret and transform data into business reporting. This role requires an individual who can anticipate and act in a very fast-paced environment.

Here's a look at some of the work you'll be performing:

  • Prepare short and long range financial / cash models, monitor performance indicators, highlight trends, and analyze causes of unexpected variances
  • Support the development of recommendations, execution, project management plans for strategic initiatives
  • Perform financial analyses to support the evaluation of strategic options, including financial outlook, NPV, and scenario/sensitivity analysis as well as track / report aims achieved
  • Prepare and distribute cycle reports including management discussion comments and variance analysis
  • Analyze industry, competitor, and customer dynamics and trends (e.g., customer segmentation, market sizing, competitive landscape mapping,) to generate insights
  • Ability to extract ad-hoc financial information from multiple systems/sources and present the results in a manner meaningful to the end user
  • Collaborate with cross-functional groups and external stakeholders as required

Working Relationships

This position reports to the Corporate Strategy Manager. Provides guidance and support to the Finance Department. Works closely with corporate groups.

Compensation

The initial compensation range is $90K - 110K.

Additional experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or Accounting
  • MBA or Professional Designation (CFA, CPA, CMA) preferred
  • At least 3-5 years of experience as a business analyst
  • Strong knowledge of building financial models
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build relationships and effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires 40 working hours a week. Additional time may be required during heavy workloads or to meet deadlines.

Physical Requirements: Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing as well as handle long periods of screen time.

Fit for Duty
