Essential Job Functions

  • Industry experience within international supply chain and transportation. Experience in Customs Brokerage activities preferred.
  • Drive business rules and optimization using industry best practices, workflow, and processes.
  • Guide/oversee system integrations, user acceptance testing and deployment to end users to ensure seamless updates of the product and its features.
  • Facilitate implementation of new functionality through training sessions, demos, and the development of appropriate documentation.
  • Manage sprints, a backlog and product roadmap on a two-week Agile cadence.
  • Understand business needs, writing clear stories to execute during each sprint.
  • Analyze the impact of proposed solutions across the global organization; develop use cases to explain/demonstrate business requirements, specifications, and acceptance criteria to users.
  • Work closely with Operations, Product, Technology and Global Trade Compliance teams to manage the process, workflow, data quality and roadmap.
  • Work closely with vendor(s) for professional services as well as support/bug incidents.
  • Recognize and highlight opportunities by region/station, mode of transport, carrier or client and communicate to leadership for review.
  • Make data driven decisions and implement metrics to manage progress and impact.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Experience in working with end users to elicit and document requirements.
  • Empathy for end users - craft intuitive workflows that improve user experience.
  • Technical competence; can discuss APIs and data models, but not necessarily an expert; able to navigate as needed.
  • Comfortable and competent analyzing data, developing meaningful business objectives/metrics to measure progress.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills in a small setting, as well as across different geographic locations.
  • Ability to focus on high quality work while under pressure; drive short-term actions that are consistent with long-term goals.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Visio and backlog management tools.
  • Expert knowledge of project management principles and practices.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Job may require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor degree
  • 3- 5 years of experience working with software application maintenance and development preferably with an e-commerce company.
