Who we are:

· Play 2 Progress is a pediatric play-based learning center specializing in occupational therapy. We host both individual & group therapy sessions, parent & me classes, school break camps, parent education, and more

Job type/ location/hours:

Seasonal:

Spring Break (April 3-7)

Summer (June 19-Sept 1)

West Hollywood & Studio City; must be able to do both locations

Hours:

Monday-Friday 8:30a-1:30p

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Lead weekly themed spring & summer camps alongside our staff of child development professionals
• Support team of occupational therapists and other child development professionals in daily summer operations, keeping camp activities & flow running smoothly
• Provide support for children during school break camps, ensuring that quality of care and safety is met
• Help prepare, clean, and organize gym or other play materials for weekly themed camps
• Communicate regularly with team, working to optimize support and efficiency of tasks during sessions
• Maintain a safe work environment and confidentiality of clients at all times

Who we are looking for:

• Has prior experience working with kids
• Enthusiastic, energetic, happy, & positive demeanors are a major plus!
• Takes initiative and is comfortable leading a wide array of camp activities, including gross motor, fine motor, and tactile activities.
• Experience with providing support to neurodivergent children
• Moves quickly and efficiently through tasks
• Ability to be proactive, creative, and flexible in determining, evaluating, and resolving issues
• Flexibility working on call or as needed

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
