Job description
A famous candy store in Carmel, CA, that has been selling candy for over 60 years, is looking for a Candy Maker. The right person for the job LOVES making things and appreciates the joy candy brings to people. Neither candy-making experience or a college education is needed. A willingness to learn new things, a commitment to detail, and an ability to follow exact instructions are vital.
The position is a full time position, 32-40 hours per week. Candidate must be responsible and have reliable transportation.
The candidate will make caramel, toffee, truffles, clusters, turtles, fudge and enrobe chocolate at a minimum. The job requires being able to learn to work with kitchen equipment like stoves, refrigerators, mixers, and food processors. The candidate needs to be able to stand for at least 8 hours and carry up to 50 pounds and will report directly to the Senior Candy Maker.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
