Job description

• Properly accounts for inventory, including proper valuation and variance analysis of agriculture, manufacturing and retail processes.
• Understand GAAP accounting
• Create budgets and forecasts
• Effectively tracks all inventory from purchase to sale
• Oversees the reconciliation of daily cash and inventory transactions to ensure accuracy
• Coordinate with banks any discrepancy on daily cash receipts
• Coordinates monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes with staff
• Reviews, implements and monitors internal controls and general operating procedures for areas of responsibility
• Coordinate the annual compliance audit
• Oversee accounts payable and ensure payroll transactions are properly recorded
• Prepares and reviews daily, weekly and quarterly reports for accuracy
• Responsible for the accurate preparation and delivery of internal financial statements
• Prepares complete and accurate financial reports and required filings
• Provide cash forecasts
• Reviews all work performed by the accounting staff, including reconciliations
• Foster a cohesive team environment among all staff
• Continually research and develop standards, procedures and processes to promote growth, maturity, efficiency and effectiveness

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
