Big Deal Outlet is a rapidly growing retail establishment with locations in Utah and Idaho. We focus on liquidating products that cannot be sold through regular retail channels. This includes, scratch and dent, overstock, customer returns, and salvage consumer products. Job Description

The primary focus of the Carboard Baler is to bale cardboard and unload any trucks that come in after hours. The Carboard Baler will work closely with the rest of the team to maintain the warehouse and ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.

What You Will Do:

• Help bale cardboard and maintain the warehouse.
• Unload trucks returning from stores, to help prepare trucks for the loading team the next morning.
• Operate pallet jacks, electric/riding jacks, and possibly a forklift (after training)
• Perform daily safety checks on equipment
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Other duties as assigned

What You Will Bring:

• High school Diploma or equivalent or equivalent
• Help bale cardboard and maintain the warehouse
• Unload trucks returning from stores, to help prepare trucks for the loading team the next morning

Work is generally performed in a retail store environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:

• Stand or sit for long periods of time
• Use a computer to enter data
• Communicate with stakeholders to understand needs
• Perform repetitive wrist, hand and/or finger movement
• Feel the attributes of objects, grasp, push, and reach with arms or hands.
• Move objects up to 10 lbs. (Must be able to frequently move/lift objects up to 25 lbs. in weight. May occasionally move/lift an object up to 50 lbs. in weight)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Ogden, UT 84404: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
