Job Details:

The Cardiovascular Technologist assists physicians with all procedures including Cardiac Catheterization, Primary Angioplasty Catheterization and other related invasive diagnostic procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Knowledge of pulling sheaths, as well as the ability and skill to assist in the performance of all other procedures and techniques which arise during the course of R&D of new means and products.
• Assists with ordering of supplies, transport of patients and clerical functions when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

CPR, BLS certification required. ACLS certification must be acquired within timeframe outlined by department. Knowledge in cardiac procedures Cardiovascular Lab experience required.

EDUCATION:

Bachelors degree in health related field preferred.
