Recruiting Support Staff/Cargivers for the following shifts/hours:

2nd shift opening:

• 2-4 days/week (these could be weekend shifts if that works best for staff's availability).
• Hours are 2:00p-10:00p.
• Rate of Pay: $16.50/hr.
• Please share your availability to commit to shifts-we are interested in working around candidate's availability.

Rooted In Dane LLC is recruiting one reliable Support Staff/Caregiver to provide direct care (2nd shift) to an active adult male. The individual lives an active lifestyle and is searching for a staff who enjoys participating in some of the following outdoor activities: biking, hiking, tennis, swimming, cross country skiing, and walking in his neighborhood or around Madison. Other recreational areas of interest include but are not limited to: dancing, going to the movies, visiting museums, concerts, puzzles, etc. Support includes verbal prompting to complete ADLs and supervision during mealtimes. The individual completes meal preparation and cleans with his staff.

Communication: Individual is able to express himself but requires a longer period of time to do so. They also utilize communication apps to share what activities they have participated in throughout the day. The most common form of communication would be leading staff to an item of desire or pointing to objects of interest.

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to successfully pass a background check.
• Ability to provide 2 employment references.
• Ability to communicate effectively.

The location is conveniently located close to UW Madison Campus off University Avenue-bus stop #2576 and stop #2131 (both serve routes 2, 28, 38).

Rooted In Dane’s role is to assist the Participant or Legal Guardian with recruiting a direct care worker. The Participant or Legal Guardian has the sole authority to hire or dismiss any potential Direct Care Worker.
