General Summary
The College of Applied Science and Technology Information Technology (CAST IT) Student Help provides technology assistance to CAST faculty and staff. Perform miscellaneous computer troubleshooting tasks and receive mentoring opportunities. CAST has eight academic units Agriculture, Criminal Justice, Family and Consumer Sciences, Gamma Phi Circus, Health Sciences, Information Technology, Kinesiology and Recreation, Military Science, and Technology. CAST IT Student Help will get to experience a wide range of disciplines and will have opportunities to interact with advanced technology.
Required Qualifications
- Must be available to work up to 28 hours a week
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to provide great customer service
- Ability to perform well in time-pressured situations
- Ability to study technical and training documents independently
- Be on time and reliable
Desired Qualifications
- Windows 10/11 & Mac OS
- Basic computer troubleshooting
- Basic understanding of computer hardware
- Microsoft Office Experience
Work Hours
Between 7:30am and 4:30pm, Monday through Friday (will work with your schedule)

This position is subject to a criminal background investigation based on University Policy 3.1.30 and any offer of employment is contingent upon you passing a satisfactory criminal background investigation. You may not begin work until the criminal background investigation results have been received and cleared by Human Resources.
