Catering Sales Manager to join their team of hospitality professionals.

Responsibilities of the Catering Sales Manager include:

• Respond to incoming social catering opportunities including e-mails, walk-ins, phone calls and website inquiries
• Proactively conduct successful solicitation calls including on property tours, outside sales calls, and sales calls
• Generate requests for proposals and manage efforts to secure business in the social market. Negotiate contracts ensuring that all pertinent aspects of solicitation and closing are complete and documented.
• Effectively attain assigned sales and revenue goals
• Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings
• Interact effectively with all departments within the hotel to ensure guest satisfaction and a positive work environment
• Participates in local networking organizations, community, and industry events

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required; previous Hotel Sales experience preferred.
• Must possess developed verbal and written communication skills to frequently negotiate and sell to corporate clients.
• This position will require nights and weekend availability.
