St. Francis hospital is seeking a
Central Distribution Tech in our
Central Supply Department where you will be responsible for:
The Central Distribution Tech is responsible for inventorying and filling supply and linen exchange carts and ancillary departments par carts, picking up dirty equipment and linen, filling and delivering supply orders for all the departments, charging and crediting supplies, stocking incoming freight, documenting all activities and performing related duties as necessary. This position reports to the SPD Supervisor.
- Accurately inventory and fill exchange, par and linen carts to provide supplies to the end user
- Performs data entry in supply management systems to track, charge, and credit department and patient supplies/ equipment.
- Receive and stock SPD inventory/ equipment to ensure a ready supply for department use
HS Diploma/GED
Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service and basic arithmetic skills required. Must be capable of routine heavy lifting, pushing, bending, carrying and walking constantly.
One year experience in a storeroom/ warehouse setting preferred
