About us
Burke Healthcare Solutions is a small Pediatric Office located in Burke, VA. While we are looking towards the future growth of our office, we are also seeking that one person to come onboard and walk along with us as we grow.
We're looking for a Certified Medical Assistant to have a meaningful impact and contribute to our team. The right candidate will have experience in various primary care disciplines and be able to demonstrate administrative support, including patient check-in and record-keeping. This is the perfect role for a professional who wants to be able to provide patients with compassionate primary care, while also playing an important role in the administration of a busy medical office.
Responsibilities:
- Order laboratory and diagnostic tests for patients.
- Perform basic clinical lab tests (blood, urine, and stool specimen collection).
- Prepare patients for procedures, such as administering anesthesia or vaccinations.
- Assess patient's medical history to develop an appropriate treatment plan.
- Prepare, sterilize, and maintain equipment and instruments before surgical or other procedures.
- Answer patient questions about medical conditions and recommendations regarding treatment plans.
- Prepare patients for x-rays and other diagnostic testing.
- Monitor patient's vital signs in order to detect any changes that may indicate a need for treatment or further medical care.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
