Shifts available: Full-time and Part-time 7a-3p and Weekends 7a-3p and 3p-11a
Palms Care Center, a Skilled Nursing Facility in Lauderdale Lakes, FL is seeking motivated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join the team! We are currently hiring for the following shifts: Weekends, Every other weekends and PRN.
Pay: $15-$16/hr.
Additional compensation includes:
- 1.5X Holiday Pay
- 1.5X Overtime Pay for every hour worked over 40 hours per week

Responsibilities of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):
- Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
- Responsible for taking and recording patient vital signs lifting, moving and transporting residents, using proper body mechanics.
- Recognizing and reporting changes in resident conditions to a nurse management. Asking appropriate questions to clarify situations.
- Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.
- Reporting abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
- Demonstrating the ability to assist the nurse with various duties as directed.
Requirements of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):
- At least one year of experience as a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) in a Long Term Care setting is highly preferred.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited Certified Nursing Aide Assistant program.
- Must possess and maintain a current state certification as a CNA.
- Maintain a satisfactory level of attendance and punctuality.
- CPR Certification required.
