Christian Care Communities is currently seeking a CNA- Scheduler for our Christian Health Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Pay Range $18.00 to $21.00 an hour
(Pay Range dependent on years of experience)
Additional On-Call income is $150.00 weekly
(On-call pay is paid regardless if you get called in or not)

Requirements for a Scheduler:
- High school diploma or (GED)
- 2 years of related experience
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Long-term care setting - Preferred
- On-Call Responsibilities. (Additional $150.00 a week for on-call responsibility and will be guaranteed on-call pay regardless if you were called in or not.)
Responsibilities for a Scheduler:
- Develops and posts work schedules at least two weeks in advance.
- Ensures timely Certified Nurse Aide (CNAs) assignments to meet the needs of new admissions as well as existing residents.
- Maintains schedule on a daily basis of any staffing changes or resident status changes and communicates accordingly.
- Facilitates the timely completion of paperwork and data entry pertinent/necessary to fulfill job duties.
- Maintains tracking system for CNA annual license renewal and communicates to the Kentucky Board of Nursing, health center nursing administration, and the human resources department.
- Maintains a current listing of employee contact numbers for call-in. Keeps a pool of replacements and coordinates vacations and time-off requests. Maintains a record of employees who miss shifts; produces reports.
- Notifies the Director of Nursing or designee of short staffing situations; contacts replacement personnel and modifies schedules when required.
- Coordinates time-off request with DON or designee.
- Coordinates with DON or designee to secure contract labor when necessary.
- Communicates with residents and their families/caregivers, and with healthcare professionals and outside vendors.
- Communicates staff assignments to managers and staff.
- Demonstrates knowledge of the computer software program and of proper documentation procedures.
- Personifies outstanding customer service to co-workers, clients, and vendors by acting as a subject matter resource in a timely, considerate, and friendly manner, always maintaining the "Golden Rule" approach; practices patience and kindness.
