The Waycross Area Shelter for Abused Persons, Inc. d/b/a Magnolia House is currently accepting applications for the position of Children’s Coordinator. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, social work or related field; and a one-year internship or two years’ work experience in early childhood, child psychology or related field. Bilingual skills preferred. This position is mainly responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery of the Promoting Safe and Stable Families Program (PSSF) funded services. This position is responsible for monitoring all child intake and PSSF services. Responsible for the operation of the Shelter’s Children’s Program. Specializes in services to extend safety and advocacy to children in the program.
