We are offering a basic salary of up to £40,000 for the right experience with hybrid working 2 days per week in the Milton Keynes office and 3 days working from home.

Role Details

You will act as the senior technical referral point within the team whilst providing support, guidance, training and development to team members. The role also requires close collaboration with the Claims Team Leader and Senior Technical Authority Holder (STAH), to ensure best practice in claims handling, agreed processes and authority levels are adhered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Taking ownership of the financial KPI’s and driving team performance in conjunction with the team leader.
  • Liaising to ensure proper interpretation and application of policy wordings and appropriate knowledge transfer.
  • Obtaining and interpreting MI from various applications, in order to identify trends and propose/implement corrective action.
  • Working with the Team Leader to undertake skills evaluation resulting in the creation of development plans.
  • Promote best in class customer experience.
  • Build and maintain excellent relationship with key stakeholders including Suppliers and Specialist Brokers.

Skills & Experience

We are looking for an individual who is interested in identifying & handling suspected fraudulent claims, whilst developing & coaching a dedicated team of claim handlers.

You will also be responsible for handling Commercial Property cases, including Engineering, Construction & Plant claims, with a value up to £100,000. You will work closely with a Team leader, Technical claims managers and suppliers, so a willingness to learn and engage with others is crucial.

We are ideally looking for someone with a background in claims, surveying or loss adjusting who has experience handling claims up to £100,000. Experience in handling suspected fraudulent claims is an advantage but full training will be provided.
