As a Clerical Assistant 3, you will be responsible for handling calls from third party customer advocates from the PA General Assembly, which is made up of the Senate and the House of Representatives. You will perform examination and data entry of all driver licensing and motor vehicle applications. You will research and evaluate Driver License & Vehicle Registration discrepancies and determines action required to resolve discrepancy. You will utilize examining skills, procedures and reference material such as the CARATS procedures, the Pennsylvania Zip Code Directory, Understand the Crime Code, Dangerous Drug Act, Judicial Code, Motor Vehicle Code and Driver License & Motor Vehicle policies, procedures and law changes. You will also utilize all Driver Licenses and Vehicle Registration processing conversations including maintenance of Driver License corrections. You will reconcile cash drawer and resolve any and all outstanding errors in accordance with acceptable auditing procedures. You will provide training to new employees.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment.- Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (commonwealth title); or- One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
