Project Reward is a Substance Use and Co-Occurring Disorder treatment program for women age 18 and older. The program provides Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient treatment and provides a continuum of treatment options for women in all phases of recovery.
The Clinician will provide substance use and mental health evaluations and treatment for clients in Project Reward’s Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient programs. Must be familiar with current best-practice for the substance use and co-occurring disorder population.
- Provide evaluations, group, individual, and family/couples therapy for those clients with substance use disorders, or co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders.
- Provide monitored UDSs
- Maintain complete and accurate information in the client’s electronic record
- Process all required documentation in a timely manner which includes evaluations, progress notes, individual therapy notes, treatment plans and treatment plan updates
- Enter client data into the DDAP system
- Collaborate effectively with other community providers, including but not limited to Adult Probation and Department of Children and Families (DCF)
- Attend service provider meetings when scheduled by DCF and other providers
- Participate in ongoing training and education appropriate to field of practice
- Maintain alliances with work related affiliations and networks
- Timely Insurance authorization calls and written OTR’s
Requirements:
- CT LCSW and/or LADC license, or license eligible, or CAC is preferred (The compensation for this role will vary based on license eligible or licensed.)
- Must have awareness of the cultural and socioeconomic characteristics of clients served
- Masters Degree in Social Work
- Minimum 2 years experience
- Trauma-informed background / interest in trainings & providing trauma-informed care
