Job description
This position is responsible for providing technical support, administration and maintenance of departmental software applications (SaaS) and equipment used in the Public Records Office. This position will serve as a subject matter expert, lead, and advisor by providing hands-on technical guidance, including user support, data maintenance and routine data analysis.
The Cloud Application Systems Administrator serves as a subject matter expert for questions, procedures and guidance regarding the most complex public disclosure technical and systems issues, including those related to Public Disclosure Request Workflow system and the document review systems.
Responsibilities Include:
- Ensure systems operation processes run smoothly and enable users to conduct their business; including performing maintenance and systems changes that improve efficiencies, performance and reliability
- Resolve operational problems and system difficulties; propose solutions, track and assure resolution through appropriate follow up methods
- Act as the liaison between the vendor and City IT department to identify the problem and resolve it
- Configure applications, assign applications to end users, and view and manage user permissions in applications managed within the department
- Serve as the subject matter expert and technical lead in performing highest-level application systems analysis duties in the internal design, development, implementation and maintenance of departmental application systems, support of software applications (SaaS)
- Direct special projects and provide status reports as necessary
- Develop procedures, guidelines, standards, and reporting systems
- Analyze, design, and maintain departmental application programs; implement vendor application SaaS and prepare specifications for staff
- Serve as the Administrator for the CIty's GovQA system, a could based public records tracking system, to resolve system issues and researches and approves system improvements and more
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree public or business administration, information technology or directly related field
Minimum Experience*
2 years of analytical and/or functional analyst, user support or database maintenance work in area related to assignment
