Sonoma Specialty Hospital is a leading long-term acute care (LTACH) facility, dedicated to providing comprehensive and specialized care for patients with complex medical needs. We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistants with a background in long term care and acute care environments. Our ideal candidate for this position will enjoy the opportunity to work with patients of all ages and understand the importance of continuity of care. We want our Nursing Assistants to work closely with physicians, nurses and hospital staff to provide care that promotes quality of life and enhances the medical experience.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications.
• Answer patients' questions.
• Apply basic first aid and emergency procedures.
• Maintain patients' comfort by providing appropriate care and assisting with activities of daily living.
• Assist nurses with ailing patients.
• Wash, bathe, dress, and feed patients.
• Prepare food trays and deliver meals to residents.
• Provide assistance to residents during outings.
• Assist with grounds keeping and cleaning the building.
• Follow infection control procedures.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diem

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
