GDIT has an opening for a CND Analyst – DCO and CIRT position supporting the Army National Guard (ARNG) in Falls Church, VA. This is an IT Service Management contract in support of the operation, modernization, expansion, and further evolution of the ARNG’s global Information Technology (IT) services including networking, compute, storage, infrastructure, applications, hosting, and program management services. The GECOS program supports the ARNG enterprise IT infrastructure, its Wide Area Network (WAN), authentication and directory services, cybersecurity, application hosting, and associated services. GECOS uses the ITIL framework as the basis for delivering quality-measured IT services to the ARNG.
HOW A CND ANALYST – DCO AND CIRT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Respond to and manage all cyber incidents reported by lower or higher Army echelons
- Participate in investigations of cyber incidents using a range of toolsets
- Produce incident assessment and response reports, along with recommended remediation activities, for government customers
- Maintain strong awareness of cyber threats and exploits potentially affecting ARNG networks/systems
- Document daily work in the ARNG’s ITSM ticketing system.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Education: BS/BA and/or 8+ years of IT experience. Will consider other combinations of years of experience, degree, and certifications
- Required Experience: Prior experience with cyber incident response, especially on DoD networks; digital forensics;
- Required Technical Skills: Understanding of enterprise network architecture, IPv4 subnetting, and TCP/IP network principles
- Security Clearance Level: SECRET Clearance is required
- Required Skills and Abilities: Good writing/documentation skills, with capability of interfacing with key government partners on operational and technical matters
- Required Certification(s): DoD 8570 IAT II (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) or above
- Desired Certification(s): DoD 8570 IAT III (CISSP or GCIH); ITIL v3 or 4
- Location: Most work performed at either Falls Church, VA site or at ARNG headquarters in Arlington, VA. Teleworking allowed at management discretion up to two days a week
