The responsibilities of the Coating Manager are to:

  • Function as a member of the Senior Leadership Team and report directly to the VP & OM
  • Strategic Visioning and Vision Implementation
  • Collaborate with Vice President & Operations Manager on Short & Long-Term Strategic Visioning
  • Establish and Promote a Positive Company Culture
  • Manage, Direct and be Accountable for Coating Department.
  • Budget Planning in collaboration with Vice President

  • Manage and Maintain Excellent Quality Control Measures

The Coating Manager position directs and manages Coating production activities by developing and implementing innovative, efficient, and effective production strategies and programs.

Reports to: Vice President & Operations Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Projecting and appropriately allocating personnel & budget resources.
  • Manage and direct Coating production operations.
  • Monitor financial activities within the budgetary process.
  • Collaborate with Vice President and Operations Manager in establishing systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitoring and motivating staff.
  • Manage operational costs for Coating Department.
  • Ensuring good customer service.
  • Help to improve administrative processes.
  • Aid in the hiring and training employees.

The role of Coating Manger requires steadfast leadership and vision that looks for innovative and inspiring ways to drive a positive company culture, high-performance among the team and profitability. In addition, the Coating Manager plays a significant role in maintaining relationships with clients and the ability to generating new business, increasing staff productivity, improving service, ensuring sustainability, and meeting business objectives.

The Coating Manager is held accountable for all Coating production activities to include, staff development, identifying & implement efficiencies, aid in ability for the company to increase sales and improve revenue, maintain relationships with clients, enhance the organization's image, and meeting overall growth objectives.

Coating Manager Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing daily Coating production activities.
  • Create/Edit Standardized Written Procedures for Coating process.
  • Collaborate with Operations Manager, Vice President, and Office HR Manager in hiring employees.
  • Define Roles for and Direct Coating Team.

  • Coordinate and Oversee Collaboration between Coating with Cleaning

  • Effective Communication with Team
    • Scheduling Maintenance into the production schedule to maintain optimal fitness as a quality control measure.
    • Assist with Quality Reports and Data Collection
      • Curves.

    • Use data to maximize productivity and quality
  • Maintenance
    • Coordinate maintenance, trouble-shooting and preventive maintenance measures with Plant Engineer
