Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to attract new commercial lines business and retain existing clients.- Oversee sales and service operations for commercial insurance, ensuring that all performance metrics and revenue targets are met.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, negotiating contracts, and securing the best coverage options for clients.
- Manage the marketing of new and renewal business, working closely with sales and service personnel to deliver exceptional results.
- Oversee quality control efforts, implementing policies and procedures to maintain the highest standards in client service and business operations.
- Manage, coach, and mentor a team of sales and service personnel, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in our commercial lines offerings.
- Collaborate with other departments within the agency to ensure seamless integration of commercial lines operations with other business areas.
- Develop and manage annual budgets for the commercial lines department, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost control.
- Represent the agency at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build brand awareness and strengthen our position in the marketplace.
- Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge in the commercial insurance market.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial insurance sales and service, with a proven track record of success.- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, underwriting processes, and carrier relations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, carriers, and team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and industry-specific software applications.
- Active Property and Casualty insurance license in the state of Texas (or the ability to obtain one upon hire).
