About us:
Avrenim is a hard FM provider based in Liverpool. Our core competency is Building fabric and M&E maintenance, but we also provide energy management, grounds maintenance, specialist cleaning, capital & refurbishment project management and helpdesk services. We work with public and private sector clients including the NHS and City Councils.
Purpose:
We are looking for a Commercial Officer with a QS/commercial background in FM to assist the Commercial Manager in an array of commercial duties. This is an initial 6-months contract with a likelihood of this turning into permanent position with scope for development.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assisting with M&E surveys, valuing, and analysing results
- Procurement activities
- Maintaining and championing commercial processes
- Maintenance of cost control systems
- Pricing Variations and tender bids
- Negotiate Subcontracts
- Preparing Subcontract orders
- Collaborate with and coordinate diverse teams (mainly engineering, finance, helpdesk, supply chain and business development)
- Managing the commercial risks within the FM business and contracts
- General commercial / finance / office duties
Who we are looking for
- Good Excel Skills
- Commercial experience ideally in FM
- Detail oriented
- Hard working and diligent
- NVQ Level 4 or higher
- Degree in Commercial Management or Quantity Surveying welcome
