As directed, cleans common area stairway, hallways, garages, baseboards, elevators, laundry rooms, lobby areas, doors, railings and walls in buildings. This includes, but is not limited to mopping, dusting, wet-wiping, vacuuming, broom sweeping and trash removal

o As directed, cleans fingerprints and smudges from glass doors and windows in common areas and vacant suites.

o As directed, clean vacant units to make ready condition and in accordance with company quality standards and attention to detail

o Cleans areas around compactors, dumpsters and parking lots

o Daily policing of property which includes picking up trash, debris

o Checks to see that interior and exterior building lights are working and fire extinguishers are in place and working properly

o Reports any maintenance concerns or repairs to supervisor

o Monitors and reports on the inventory of cleaning supplies

o Removes snow and ice from common walkways and parking lots

o Mold awareness

o Delivers tenant correspondence at request of office staff

o Abides by the company’s hazardous communication program and follow correct, safe work practices at all times

o Participate in company training and meetings as required

o Performs all other duties at the request of supervisors

o Flexibility in work schedule as determined by management may be required periodically to insure adequate staffing during critical times such as snow events where employee is defined as essential personnel

o Mathematical Skills: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform those operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.

o Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

o Language Skills: Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
