Inside the Role

The Operations and Specialty Vehicles (OSV) team is DTNA’s largest business unit with more than 13,000 employees in multiple locations between Mexico and the US. The SVP Office team is the main facilitator of communication and information sharing across business units.

As part of the SVP Office team, the OSV Communications senior specialist plays a key role collaborating between Manufacturing plants and Support business units to elevate content though internal and external channels. They cohesively drive high engagement internally with our OSV and DTNA community and externally boosts awareness of relevant OSV topics.

Position offers a starting salary range of $82,000.00 - $104,500.00 USD

Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience.

Qualifikationen

What You Drive at DTNA:

  • Serve as managing editor and art director of internal social intranet by posting content, maintaining consistent messaging, and facilitate responses or comments
  • Plan and implement a content strategy for the internal OSV intranet that drives high engagement
  • Gather and collaborate with OSV representatives to coordinate, edit and publish compelling OSV relevant messages on social intranet, including guidance of subspaces creation
  • Assemble OSV Newsletter featuring a recap of highlights and strategy rollout
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including primary Plant contacts, DTNA Corporate Communications, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion team and other business unit contacts to maximize OSV’s impact to the DTNA community
  • Act as point of contact for OSV to support content for external websites (i.e. LindedIn, Facebook, Instagram)
  • Update and Maintain digital repository for OSV design guides, templates, digital imagery, photography, logos, videos, testimonials, etc.
  • Ensure branding consistency across all Truck Manufacturing plants by collaborating with DTNA’s Corporate Communications/Brand Reputation teams
  • Spearhead and drive execution of initiatives, special projects and campaigns as assigned by OSV SVP Support team.
  • Collaborate with DTNA Corporate communications in managing DTNA communications in the Carolinas such as Partnerships, Corporate Giving and Matching and other special events in the Carolinas

Knowledge You Should Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or related field and 5+ years’ related experience required.
  • Proven ability communicate clearly and concisely and tailor messages to reach different audiences required.
  • Ability to organize communications into a comprehensive communication plan required.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and strong creative and verbal communications skills including writing and proofreading skills required.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and juggle multiple priorities and projects throughout the day in a timely manner, with the flexibility to reprioritize as required.
  • Strong computer skills covering general office software, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required.

Exceptional Candidates Might Have:

  • Experience with digital media creation software (i.e Photoshop, Canvas, Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro, etc) is preferred
  • Experience with social media platforms including content planning, community management, and policies is preferred
  • Experience in Social intranet and content production is preferred
  • Experience with department operations and budgets is preferred
  • Corporate and media events experience preferred
  • Fluency in Spanish is Preferred
