Requirements:
- The position requires strong organizational and time management skills with an ability to prioritize in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment. In addition, the candidate must have attention to detail and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ideally, the candidate would have one to two years of industry experience, with some familiarity with or exposure to the compliance or audit functions such as in mutual fund or portfolio accounting or administration. Westfield will provide training and continuing education.
Responsiblites:
- The Associate's main responsibility will be to oversee client restrictions which includes understanding, reviewing, and monitoring client investment policy statements and guidelines.
- Other responsibilities include supporting the review and testing of the firm's policies and procedures, assisting with the completion of client certifications and/or questionnaires and any other projects as assigned.
- Over time the Associate can undertake new responsibilities within Compliance, such as Code of Ethics monitoring and review of marketing materials.
- It is expected that the Associate will attend industry conferences or webinars on regulatory compliance matters for training and education purposes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university
- Interest in legal and/or compliance matters affecting investment advisers
- Previous compliance and/or audit experience is preferred
