BAE Systems is seeking a Senior Computer Systems Analyst to join our team supporting the United States Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC), Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) Center under the Cyber Security & Information Assurance (CSIA) Support Services contract located at the Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. The C5ISR Center is an applied research and advanced technology development center which develops and integrates C5ISR technologies that enable information dominance and decisive lethality for the networked Warfighters. The C5ISR Center provides the Army with secure communications/networking technologies through R&D innovations. The successful candidate will serve as the Senior Computer Systems Analyst supporting CSIA engineering and operations.

This position develops computer systems specifications and requirements that address requirements and that fit with the system architecture standards. Establishes and documents system parameters and formats, ensures hardware and software systems compatibility and coordinates and/or modifies system parameters in terms of existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities. Analyzes, enhances, installs, tests and modifies enterprise-wide operating systems for new and/or existing systems.

Must have experience in design, development, testing and evaluation of computer-based systems. Must possess specific experience in the analysis and design of business applications on complex, large-scale systems, including experience in data base management concepts. Knowledge of state-of-the-art storage and retrieval methods is required as well as the ability to formulate specifications for computer programmers to use in coding, testing, and debugging of computer programs. Must have experience in design, development, testing and evaluation of computer-based systems. The position requires ability to work independently with sensitive and confidential information, maintain a professional demeanor, work as a team member without daily supervision and effectively communicate with diverse groups of clients.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Minimum education of Bachelor's Degree. Minimum degree requirement of Engineering Degree, or a Related Scientific or Technical discipline is required
  • Minimum years of experience of 10 years. 8 years of additional Relevant Experience may be substituted for education requirement
  • Current Secret level security clearance, TS/SCI desired
  • DoD 8570.01-M IAT II, Security+ desired
