We are looking for a software developer (full time, W2) to join our growing engineering team and help us develop and maintain various software products. The main concentration will be further developing our desktop Python application, which processes our camera's images (NumPy) and remotely interfaces with our cameras (Ethernet).

Hybrid remote work with weekly (as-needed) requirement to visit our San Diego, CA office. Benifits package includes 50% Employer Paid Healthcare. No relocation package offered.

Responsibilities

• Write effective, organized, and scalable code
• Integrate user-facing elements into applications (PyQt)
• Test and debug programs
• Maintain similar application across multiple OS platforms
• Improve functionality of existing systems
• Assess and prioritize feature requests
• Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions

Skills

• Efficient work ethic

• Resourceful in researching solutions to problems
• [REQUIRED] Expertise in image/video processing libraries like OpenCV and NumPy
• [REQUIRED] Expertise in PyQt application UI/UX, cross-platform deployment
• [DESIRED] Experience in TCP (Ethernet) communications to external embedded systems
• [DESIRED] Experience working with multi-layer images (rasters) for GIS application (GDAL, exiftools, etc)

Pay: $83,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
