Managers at Iron Horse Golf Club ensure that the highest level of service is offered to the members of Iron Horse by providing the members with personal, gracious, and professional service. This position develops policies to control and coordinate accounting, auditing, budgets, taxes, and related activities and records; develop, establish, and administer procedures and systems pertaining to financial matters; prepare financial statements, forecasts, and analyses for all administrative and managerial functions. Maintain all accounting records and is responsible for development, analysis, and interpretation of statistical and accounting information. Works in partnership with Human Resources and Payroll Manager.

Qualifications

· Previous private golf club experience preferred

· 4 year degree in accounting and 5 years previous experience as controller or staff accountant

· Demonstrate the highest level of professional courtesy and communication ability

· Previous experience with Jonas Club Software perferred

· Computer skills with proficiency in Word, Excel, Internet, email

Duties and Responsibilities / Core Competencies

· General journal entries

· Account reconciliations and schedules

· Month end financial statements

· IT knowledge and skillset/experience

· Monitor insurance and regulatory items

· Fixed asset recordkeeping

· Inventory audit

· Budgeting

· Cash flow analysis

· Monthly bank account reconciliation

· Payroll entries

· AR/Month end statements

· AP Processing and vendor maintenance

· Daily sales audit

· Point of sale software operations

· Annual audits

· Respond to member inquiries

· Understanding of GAAP

· Oversee IT functions and security

· Other detailed analysis

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
