One of Vaco's PE backed clients is looking to add Controller to the team. Qualified candidates will have well-rounded GL experience, accounting acumen, strong global consolidations experience team-oriented mentality.

One of Vaco's PE backed clients is looking to add Controller to the team. Qualified candidates will have well-rounded GL experience, accounting acumen, strong global consolidations experience team-oriented mentality.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee GL domestically
- Consolidations, including global consolidations
- Ensure successful close process, oversee general ledger
- Accounting research, implement updated accounting policy
- Preparing financials, financial reporting
- Assist in the implementation of KPIs, processes and initiatives for accounting team
- Support from finance perspective including some cash flow, budgeting, forecasting
- Create and maintain documentation to support annual audits
- Bachelor's in accounting or related degree required; MBA preferred
- CPA preferred, not required
- 4-8+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Systems: major ERP experience, advanced Excel
- Global consolidations experience required
- Complex entity experience
- Team player, with hands-on mentorship leader mentality
- Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects with varying deadlines
