The Cottages at Renton is currently seeking an experienced cook for our specialized 60 unit memory care community.

Senior Care/Long Term Care food service experience preferred but willing to consider the right candidate cook, sous chef, restaurant/catering cooking experience (no fast food for this position), great skills and big heart. This particular position is not sit down restaurant style service, but rather institutional/catering where meals meals are prepared in large quantity then dished and served with only slight variations for specific dietary limitations.

Our Cook is responsible for the following:

• -working in conjunction with dietary manager
• -able to follow written recipes for batch cooking
• -able to follow guidelines for plating and portion
• -inventory maintenance/stock rotation
• - preparation/service of regular and therapeutic diets
• -maintain clean and sanitary work environment including deep cleaning and daily dishes on work days
• -performance and guidelines within Washington State regulations

This position is 4 days per week, 10 hours each day. Must be able to pass finger print background check.
