Schindy's at Diamond Lake is a historical landmark where locals, weekenders and outdoor enthusiasts can sit back and relax with the food and beverages they love and with the people they like.

Our work environment includes:

• Relaxed and casual atmosphere while providing multiple services to our customers and community. Some call us "All Inclusive" since we offer gas, general store with Michigan Made products, Ice Cream, Beer, Wine and Liquor, Artisan Pizza's all handcrafted and made to order, a full bar in a family oriented establishment, outdoor patio and entertainment area and coming Spring 2023 a Farmers & Artisan Market. All located on beautiful Diamond Lake and near all of the ORV Trails and North County Trail.

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate cook to help support our team. The ideal candidate for this position has the desire to learn (previous experience is not required). We take pride in the food we prepare and we want someone who will feel the same way. This person needs to enjoy working in a busy restaurant environment and is capable of taking direction well and multi-tasking effectively. A successful candidate will have restaurant industry experience, a passion for food prep, and strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

• Kitchen Prep - we prepare our pizza toppings fresh daily.
• Prepare food in a timely manner.
• Food Safety training will be provided.
• Keeping our kitchen clean, sanitized, stocked and organized.
• All employees are cross trained for the kitchen and the front of the house for counter service.
• Work directly with the owner on the line.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
