Primary Position Objectives
Assists the Cook in the preparation and service of meals. Responsible for kitchen and dining area sanitation. Follows policies and procedures in accordance with DOL, PRH, Center and Serrato Corporation requirements.

Administration
Procedures
- Sweeps, mops, strips, waxes, and polishes floors as appropriate.
- Cleans pots, pans, dishes and utensils.
- Clears, cleans and sanitizes work and dining tables.
- Cleans and maintains storage areas.
- Segregates and removes trash containers to designated locations.
- Cleans garbage containers.
- Ensures adequate supplies of all utensils and condiments at every setting.
- Degreases and sanitizes vent screens and filters.
- Cleans refrigerators and storage areas.
- Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
- Provides quality customer service to the students that we serve at all times.
- Participates in teamwork between students and staff; including interdepartmental teamwork.
- Monitors area of responsibility to ensure timely and high-quality services.
- Complies with all DOL guidelines, OFCCP regulation, Job Corps notices and bulletins, and Center policies and procedures.
- Maintains good housekeeping in all areas and complies with safety practices.
- Participation in PRH mandated staff training is mandatory. Failure to participate may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.

Proficiency with advanced Microsoft Office applications including Word, Power Point and Excel.
Experience
One to three months related experience and/or training.
Education
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) and/or equivalent combination and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
NRA Food Service Sanitation or equivalent/Serve Safe. Valid State Driver’s License.
