We are looking for a Copy Editor to join our team and work with our clients to ensure all content is proofed and accurate.
A Copy Editor’s responsibilities include proofreading, editing, and working with the clients and internal Hamilton Raye team to deliver quality content.
There will be some light copywriting assignments for blogs, PR outreach, and social media with the majority of the work is editing. If you are looking to expand your editing into copywriting this role is for you!
Responsibilities
- Ensure that content adheres to the in-house style guide
- Stay abreast of the latest media trends and content best practices
- Collaborate with the team to come up with fresh and creative ideas, keeping the audience in mind
- Ability to manage multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines
Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a Copy Editor or similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Time management skills
- A bachelor’s degree in Journalism or English is preferred
