This team is looking for a Vice President to support the CIBT Balance Sheet and Liquidity Analytics Group. The Balance Sheet group sits within CIB Treasury and is responsible for accurately analyzing, reporting, and controlling the CIB Balance Sheet. The Vice President will work in part of the wider Treasury team and analyze how the balance sheet impacts the CIB liquidity and capital position. There will be heavy interaction with all lines of business, the wider treasury and liquidity teams.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of 1-2 people
  • Oversee daily Balance Sheet reporting as well as responsible for controls around month end close process
  • CIBT lead for CCAR and stress testing of Balance Sheet launch point
  • Interact and partner with senior CIB Treasury and business leadership, Controllers, Liquidity and other related areas to obtain, understand, and analyze information in relation to balance sheet
  • Coordinate globally to develop specific CIB sub-Line of Business commentary and analysis. Present results in weekly management forum
  • Responsible for accurately closing the balance sheet at month end
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects as needed by senior management and other regulatory initiatives.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
  • 7 - 10 years experience
  • Strong knowledge of Investment Bank balance sheet.
  • Strong analytical, creative thinking and problem-solving skills. Comfortable in managing large amounts of data and identifying takeaways
  • Focused work ethic, good business sense, and demonstrated initiative
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize multiple tasks, and bring tasks to complete closure
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Clear and concise communication ability both written and verbal

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
  • Balance Sheet or Liquidity experience
  • Experience with digital solutions like Alteryx and Tableau
