Job description
This is an entry-level position with pay starting at $18.26/hour plus $0.30 shift differential for those working 2nd and 3rd shift. Are you looking to start a new career? - NEW PAY INCENTIVE! We currently have an additional $3.50/hr. pay incentive for Corrections Officers for the remainder of the fiscal year!
You must have your HS Diploma or GED Equivalent, be 18 years or older, have a valid Driver's License, be free from felony convictions and domestic violence convictions, be able to pass a background screening, and pass a drug, medical, and TB Screening.
All positions are full-time and benefits-eligible. Corrections Officers supervise residents in our minimum security prison, maintain discipline and control, enforce policy, rules, and regulations, perform searches and shakedowns, observe and monitor resident activities and interactions, and deal effectively with individuals.
