Our organization is seeking an experienced Counselor to work with our team. The Counselor works directly with clients to address behavioral issues and the associated medical concerns. A successful candidate must have a thorough knowledge of addiction medicine, and will be responsible for coordinating group sessions, keeping detailed patient records and identifying program benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Determine appropriate treatment and/or medication for patients.
• Meet with patients individually to assess their mental health and make recommendations for treatment.
• Discuss and implement treatment plans with patients.
• Treat addiction, depression, and other mental illnesses.
• Explain to patients how the medications they are taking work.
• Establish a trusting relationship with clients.
• Help patients cope with their illnesses.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $31.00 per hour
