Boudoir Bar Café is a European-inspired café offering quality coffee, delicious treats and savory eats in downtown Whitefish, Montana.
We are seeking a Food Prep Lead with 6+ months of proven culinary experience who will confidently perform various day-to-day tasks including, but not limited to, cooking and delivering outstanding menu items, communicating professionally and politely to facilitate an efficient and effective work environment, prioritizing work station cleanliness and organization, dishwashing, supporting team members with café projects, and maintaining an organizing inventory. This position is great for culinary enthusiasts that enjoy hospitality and preparing high-quality food and treats.
Food Prep Lead responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Prepping and stocking food prep area and water station, while assisting with opening tasks and throughout the business day
- Providing excellent service, hospitality, and a great café experience for guests
- Assembling and packaging takeout orders, packaging treats consistently in a hospitable manner consistent with Boudoir Bar Café’s high standards
- Prepare menu and drink items in cooperation with the rest of the café staff
- Performing daily cleaning, dishwashing, and organizing tasks as directed
- Greeting all guests warmly with on-brand appropriate language
- Communicating and facilitating guest’s requests, comments, and questions to supervisors
- Accomplishing daily activities and complying with nutritional and sanitation and safety standards while following operational instructions
- Storing food and cleaning up station in a timely, efficient, and compliant manner
- Maintain a positive and professional relationship with all coworkers, customers, and vendors in all business settings
- Appropriately offer positive and/or constructive feedback to team members on the quality and consistency of food preparation, cleanliness, professionalism, and customer service delivery
- Communicate inventory checks and communicate needs to supervisor
- Reset food prep area, bar, and floor with team members, while assisting with closing tasks as directed
Requirements and skills:
· Outstanding culinary work experience in a restaurant, bakery, or bar setting
· Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
· Understanding and willingness to follow hygiene and food safety rules
· Strong attention to detail, knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
· Physical and mental ability to stand for long hours amongst groups of people
· Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
· Reliable transportation for commute and/or plan to relocate before starting work

Compensation based on work experience. Benefits based on shift duration and weekly hour minimums. Full Time is defined as 32-40 consistent hours a week and/or a salary paid FT position. Part Time is defined as less than 32 hours a week. After a successful 90 day Probation Period, FT and PT employee benefits include:
- Starting Pay: $15/hour depending on experience, PLUS cash & credit card tips
- FT (32-40+ hours): PTO, accrued vacation, health insurance, The Wave Membership and Food and Drink Discounts.
