Criminal Intelligence Analyst / Watch Officer

Position Summary:

Employment Category: Full Time / Exempt

Location: Pentagon

Work Posture: Primarily In-Person with some flexibility to telework.

Must be willing to support 24/7 shift operations to include weekdays, weekends, and Federal holidays in a Government furnished SCIF.

*** Must be willing to support 0800 - 1600, Tuesday - Saturday ***

Travel: Yes, some travel required.

Security Clearance: TS/SCI

Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of six years of relevant work experience.

• Law Enforcement Enterprise Portal (LEEP)

• Combating Terrorism Knowledge Base
• Open-Source Databases
• NCTC, TIDE, CIA Wire, M3 or Analyst Notebook.

Must have experience with any of the following agencies or organizations:

• Office of the Provost Marshal General
• Criminal Investigation Division
• Air force Office of Special Investigation
• Naval Criminal Investigative Service
• Protective Services Intelligence
• Department of Defense Military Intelligence Agencies
• 902nd MI Group
• Defense Intelligence Agency
• National Counter-Terrorism Center
• Central Intelligence Agency
• Department of Homeland Security
• US Secret Service and the Federal Bureau of Investigation

Required Work Experience:

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in criminal intelligence.
• Graduate of a recognized law enforcement / criminal intelligence course or a Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) producing military police, or military investigator.
• Experience in research, analysis, and writing.
• Experience presenting threat research analysis in both written and oral briefs.
• Proficient with windows-based programs to include the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with law enforcement or intelligence web portals, databases, and software applications.
• Possess the ability to perform in a high operational tempo environment, with a small group of highly trained professionals and be capable of making quick recommendations for the US Army Threat Integration Center (ARTIC) Chief’s approval.
• Possess broad expertise in research, analysis and writing and be able to perform triage on questions, issues or events involving domestic and foreign terrorism matters.
• Experience in verifying facts, dates and statistics using standard reference sources.

Responsibilities:

Sancorp Consulting LLC is seeking a Criminal Intelligence Analyst / Watch Officer to support the US Army Threat Integration Center (ARTIC). The following are examples of responsibilities:

• Provide law enforcement information (LEI), unclassified, CUI, and classified criminal intelligence research on multiple computer networks for threat personas, networks, and groups both CONUS and OCONUS.
• Provide written and oral presentations of LEI, unclassified and classified research to DOD, Army and Federal Agency Senior Leaders as well as the community of interest at large as directed by the ARTIC Chief.
• Prepare and present time sensitive products to meet indication and warning requirements for wider dissemination and inclusion into the system that projects the common operating picture.
• Prepare, proofread, edit, and revise documentation, products, and reports.
• Coordinate and dialogue with ARTIC community partners across the Department of the Army, DoD, Intelligence and Federal, State, Local, Tribal Law Enforcement agencies to support the ARTIC mission.
• Perform data correlation, link analysis, and trend identification and assessment as required to ascertain linkages and patterns associated with domestic and foreign threats and domestic and international terrorism related incidents and operations.
• Will travel to attend conferences and collaborative meetings with ARTIC community partners as required.
