Labor Finders is immediately looking to hire CUSTODIANS / JANITORS (CLEANING CREW) to work at an arena in Palm Desert.

Position: Janitor / Custodian (Cleaning Crew) Shifts: Vary

Pay: $17.00/Hour Location: Palm Desert, CA Start Date: ASAP

Custodian Daily Duties & Responsibilities:

• Keeps building and property in clean and orderly condition.
• Performs heavy cleaning duties.
• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, or vacuums floors.
• Gathers and empties trash.
• Scrubs, sanitizes, and supplies restroom facilities.
• Dusts furniture, walls, and equipment.
• Cleans windows, mirrors, and partitions with soap and other cleansers.
• Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners
• Cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures.
• Notifies managers regarding the need for repairs or additions to building operating systems.
• Perform other related duties.

Custodian Qualifications / Skills:

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Pre-assignment background screen.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, & perform repetitive motions for long periods of time.
• Experience with using cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners and cleaning solutions.
• Knowledge of standard cleaning methods and procedures.
• Background / training in handling, mixing, and using cleaning chemicals safely.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety practices.
• Good communication skills.
• We use E-Verify for employment authorization purposes. Documentation to prove identity and authorization to work in the US is required.
