Job description
Three doctor small animal practice in the East End is seeking a PART TIME receptionist. Available hours are MTF 2-6 PM and W 10-6 with the potential for additional hours based on schedule changes. We are closed on weekends and major holidays.
Applicants should be compassionate, highly motivated and detail oriented with excellent people skills. Experience with animals is a plus! Duties include, but are not limited to, answering a multi-line phone system in a prompt and friendly manner, filing and keeping accurate medical records, client education, promotion of hospital products and services, assisting clients with their pet care needs, checking clients in and out, end of day bookkeeping, cleaning, etc.
The ideal candidate would be a cheerful, outgoing and positive person who has a background in animal knowledge. They can multitask in a fast paced environment, remain productive during slower times as well as be organized and possess good written and oral communication skills. They are a team player, able to conduct themselves in a professional manner, help out in the back when needed and enjoy working with our clients and their pets.
