Hours: M-F between 8:30 - 6:30 EST

Job Description:
The mission of the Safety Surveillance & Collaborative (S&C) team, Healthagen, is to actively monitor the US public health in collaboration with Food and Drug Administration (FDA), academic institutions, and other health insurance companies. The S&C team conducts Safety Surveillance and Collaborative descriptive research, medical chart review validations, and pragmatic research using the FDA Sentinel Common Data Model (CDM), Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership (OMOP) CDM, Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Network (PCORnet) CDM, Sentinel and Distributed Research Network (DRN) tools, and CVS Health data resources such as Aetna’s Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).
This position would function as the data analyst reporting to the team Director/ Senior Director.

Duties:
The CX Data Engineer will play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance our the ECX team’s data models, datasets, and ETL/ELT pipelines from a variety of data sources for Data Warehouse /Data Lake/Hadoop/ Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Ownership over our HCB processes such sampling, invention files, database information, and transportation of our Enterprise CX between key systems GCP, Medallia, Salesforce, SFTP, and legacy systems.

Collaborate with Senior Technical Program Owner to build and manage new features and capabilities while delivering desired business impact; while providing thought leadership to program governance activities such as prioritization and negotiating with stakeholders on backlog priorities.

Work closely with the Customer Experience Measurement team to develop analyses, support ongoing analysis/reporting, and assisting in survey design/management.

Experience:
This role will have the following core responsibilities:
1. Develop large-scale data structures and pipelines to organize, collect and standardize data that help generate insights and address reporting needs
2. Write ETL/ELT (Extract / Transform / Load) processes, design database systems, maintained structures, and develops tools for real-time and offline analytic processing
3. Build & automate data pipelines, apply data transformation, and integrate key business logic
4. Uses programming skills in Python, SQL or any of the major languages to build robust data pipelines and dynamic systems
5. Build invitation lists and targeting algorithms to support various surveys throughout the enterprise in Hadoop, Teradata, and GCP
6. Integrates data from a variety of sources, assuring that they adhere to data quality and accessibility standards
7. Maintain legacy applications and contribute to the development of new applications utilizing various technologies – including, but not limited to: GCP, Snowflake and Hadoop
8. Ownership over a few of our survey process and critical reporting tables
9. Serve as subject matter expert and point of contact on content, processes, procedures, and functionality associated with HCB survey
10. Work with a large cross-functional team, including multiple digital scrum teams, IT project, legal and other partners, to developing solutions
11. Strong analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities as well as exceptional customer service orientation 
12. A responsibility to continue to identify and institute scalable process enhancements / tools for greater efficiency of recurring processes
13. Maintain documentation of pipelines and process for business owners

Education:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Management, ect.
