Equivalent ExperienceDescription:
Our client is working alongside PG&E to do integrity inspections in high fire threat areas. This work requires software usage from PG&E's proprietary software and our clients software. There will also be components of downloading jpegs and pdfs and transcribing that information as well.
Data Entry Specialists will be conducting data entry from software to software daily. There is around 7 - 8 pieces of data per action item that will need to get transferred. This person will be working alongside others and will need to be a team player and take instruction well.
Another task is looking at pictures sent from inspectors out in the field and doing a quality check before uploading them into the system. Quality checks include making sure the lighting is good, the quality is clear.
- Day in the Life: Doing quality control from data from inspectors out on the field as it comes in.
o Ex: Transcribing data from physical papers to a the computer; or typing data from one software to another
o Ex: Quality checking pictures as they come in and making sure the both the quality of the picture is appropriate as well as the data given from the picture
o Repetitive job that requires attention to detail
