Database Architect

LOCATION: Austin, TX (remote work within US allowed, prefer worker to be in Texas)

START DATE: ASAP
DURATION: Initial contract for 1,000 hours through 8/31/23 with anticipated extension into FY 2024.

DUE DATE: COB 4/20/23

JOB DESCRIPTION/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

The Database Architect will be responsible for: Designing the data structures needed to meet the business requirements. Ensuring database development standards are followed. Providing specifications for data quality. Documenting the “as-is” schemas currently in use at TWC. Performing other analysis and documentation tasks as required to facilitate and support TWC’s Enterprise Data Warehouse. Work is accomplished in a highly collaborative environment. May also work independently with minimal supervision and be required to meet tight deadlines.

Minimum Requirements:

Skills/Experience

7 - 8

Hands-on experience with data warehouse development (relational and dimensional) and proven evidence to implement using databases like Oracle, SQL Server etc., preferably Oracle.

Experience with Oracle PL/SQL.

6 - 8

Hands-on experience with data modeling preferably in a data warehouse environment.

Experience with Informatica product suite in the Informatica cloud.

Strong Proven ability to work successfully with technical and non-technical groups and manage multiple responsibilities.

Strong Communication, analytical and interpersonal skills at all levels.

Strong Technical writing skills.

Skills/Experience

6 More than one type of RDBMS (DB2, SQL Server, Oracle).

4 Experience in Public Sector delivery.

4 Experience writing dynamic SQL.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour
